Remember Memorial Day for the purpose it was intended. Memorial Day was created as a way to commemorate those who have died in military service; originally from the Civil War.
Remember those who have died for this great country of ours and the freedoms we are able to observe. Also, remember that we have those freedoms such as freedom of speech, freedom to practice whichever religion (not just Christianity) of our choice.
As we enjoy these freedoms this is also a time to remember our partners and the commitment we have to them. Take time to take your partner and give them a hug and a kiss or perhaps more. 🙂 Memorial Weekend has become a time to celebrate the beginning of summer and for connecting with friends and family. Remember that very important person in your life, your partner.
