This workshop is designed for singles, couples, and more-somes regardless of gender spectrum or sexual preference.
Basic Sexual Adventuring Whether you’re in a sexually exclusive relationship or a more open one, treating your shared sexual activities as a joint adventure can help keep things fresh. The erotic intensity of any relationship is likely to diminish with time. One of the most effective ways to stay passionate is to jointly explore your sexuality consciously, to start pushing your boundaries a little.
We define sexual adventuring as a shared undertaking with a clear set of purposes˘generally, to build sexual self-awareness, find new sources of pleasure, and deepen intimacy. In this workshop, we’ll examine the hows and whys of basic sexual adventuring, look at some ways for beginners to explore, and provide you with insights on how to choose and plan your own adventures.
Mark A. Michaels and Patricia Johnson have won numerous awards for their work. They are a devoted married couple and have been collaborators since 1999. Ananda Nidra: Blissful Sleep (Projekt Records, 2011, Finalist: COVR Visionary Award). They are senior students of Tantric pioneer Dr. Jonn Mumford (Swami Anandakapila Saraswati) who has named them his lineage holders for the Americas and Europe. In addition, the two are co-founders of the Pleasure Salon, a monthly gathering in New York City that brings together sex-positive people and pleasure activists from a variety of communities.
