BtB hopes to change the conversation of sexuality to one that is open, sex-positive, shameless, fact-based, respectful, and supportive of all relationship configurations. BtB desires to contribute to a world where people thrive in their lives, their loves, and their sexuality by exercising personal choice and freedom.
Founder and Executive Director
At the age of 40, Dan was introduced to the Western version of the tantric arts. That introduction began his quest for knowledge about all things related to a more intimate expression of sex and sexuality. Being an engineer, he sought to learn more grounded approaches to sexuality and gain an understanding of the inner workings from the perspective of how our bodies function.
After years of study, the result of his quest is a comprehensive knowledge about sex, sexuality and relating from a wide variety of disciplines and traditions. He shares his knowledge with private clients and the wider community as a sex educator and consultant. He encourages people to gain their own experience and knowledge so they can decide what works best for them and their relationships. He has made it a personal mission to educate people about the healing aspects and energies of human sexuality in a safe and inviting environment. Dan brought his teaching to an international audience and is a sought after speaker, educator, sex and relationship consultant.
Dan is a Certified Tantra Educator through the Source School of Tantra. In addition, he has completed levels 1-4 of Chuluaqui Quodoushka Spiritual Sexuality training, has studied Taoist sexual healing practices, has attended The Body Electric School, and has become versed in the somatic healing practices taught by Lafayette Morehouse, Orgasmic Providers and OneTaste.
Director of Education
Elizabeth practiced for years as a sex therapist promoting sexual health, education and awareness. Through her work, Elizabeth helped countless women and couples develop greater levels of connectivity in their relationships and achieve more satisfying and stimulating levels of intimacy. Elizabeth now uses her past experiences and continuously growing network to attract informative, knowledgeable, and world renown speakers for Beyond the Bedroom Events. Further, the insight Elizabeth gained from her past work helps her develop event curriculum that delivers the kind of intimacy and sexuality education individuals and couples are looking for.
Beyond being the Director of Education for Beyond the Bedroom Events, Elizabeth is also a Certified Tantra Educator through the School of Source Tantra. She completed the third level of the Chuluaqui Quodoushka Spiritual Sexuality Teachings. In addition, she has had extensive training in the art and practice of women’s orgasm taught by Lafayette Morehouse, Orgasmic Providers and OneTaste. Elizabeth is delighted to teach these practices to women and couples who desire to more fully live their orgasm. Individuals or couples interested in learning more about intimacy, sexuality, or orgasmic practices can contact Elizabeth through VulvaLove.com (Elizabeth@vulvalove.com) to schedule a private consultation or inquire about these services.
Elizabeth made the choice to no longer practice psychotherapy when she moved to Colorado, and is not licensed to practice psychotherapy here. However, Elizabeth strongly believes that individuals or couples who need a psychotherapist’s assistance should contact a licensed professional. To that end, Elizabeth maintains a network of referrals and is happy to provide a recommendation upon request.
